Catherine (known to some as Katie) is an illustrator and art director with a background in advertising and a perspective shaped by intuition, empathy, and the occasional existential spiral. At her core, she’s an observer.
She believes form and function are not mutually exclusive. Great design should solve problems, yes—but should also surprise. She revels in the beauty of contradiction. Pairing sophistication with silliness, refinement with the ridiculous, taste with trash (and always alliterating) to create work that feels both unexpected and considered.
She’s helped build brands from scratch, evolve legacy ones, and translate creative into something people actually want to engage with. Whether she’s shaping brand strategy, building visual worlds, or mindlessly doodling in analog, Catherine blends aesthetic intelligence with real-world clarity. Her work is driven by curiosity. What delights us, why we respond the way we do, and how subtle details can completely shift our perception.
Equally at home as a consultant or collaborator, Catherine is known for bringing sharp instincts and a sense of ease to every project. She’s not chasing mass appeal. She’s after resonance, connection, and the underrated power of simply making someone smile.
